Alex Jacobs moved to Beachwood eighteen years ago to raise her family with her husband Paul, after completing her undergraduate degree at Case Western Reserve University. She earned her law degree at night while raising her oldest two children, then helped develop and run a condo association management company while adding two more children to her family. She has coached multiple Destination Imagination teams, leads a Girl Scout troop, serves as treasurer for the Beachwood PTO, and is president of the Beachwood Schools Support Organization (BSSO).
At her condo association management company, Alex:
- Helped found, develop, and run a condominium management company with fifteen employees and 90+ client HOA’s.
- Directed operations for nonprofit condominium associations, ensuring legal and financial compliance.
- Developed long-term capital strategies for community infrastructure and sustainability
- Interfaced with resident boards, facilitated transparent budgeting, and educated communities on policy and fiscal health.
- Advocated for homeowner interests through public meetings, legal consultations, and clear communications.
