Our city continues to grow, thanks to our strong tax base, great city services, and excellent schools. We want our city to continue on that path.
Here’s our vision for the next 4 years – We need leadership that is focused on creating tangible improvements in our residents’ lives. Leadership that is inclusive and representative. That’s how we will keep Beachwood a strong, vibrant, growing, and diverse community. That’s what we are going to deliver.
We have a good start on this – our finances are strong and we can sustain our current levels of service without raising taxes or taking on debt. That means we can keep our community safe, our infrastructure well maintained, and our amenities top notch.
Alex’s skills in community management, Pete’s skills in marketing, and Alec’s skills in public finance and operations will be key as we sustainably grow our community. Council is a committee and it’s the combined skills of Alex, Pete, and Alec that will deliver tangible results to Beachwood.
Over the next 4 years we will:
- Continue to invest in our community, providing the top quality services and amenities we expect and deserve.
- Keep our taxes low, by ensuring we stay on a sustainable financial path.
- Keep our city safe, by ensuring our public safety forces are set up for success and that our streets are well lit.
We don’t expect that we will always agree on the issues – which is the way it should be and the way things are on council now. We should never, and have never, shied away from honest discussion and debate. We are all focused on the same thing, though – creating tangible good for our community.
